Smoke in every room.
A late-night kitchen fire was contained quickly — but smoke wasn't. Within hours, acidic soot was settling on furniture, electronics, clothing, and a lifetime of family belongings in every room of the house.
PROJECT-01-BEFOREEverything removed, cleaned, and cataloged.
A contractor and Vera walked Matt's family through how the insurance process would unfold, and they moved to a hotel, then a rental. Our crew removed the whole home's contents — couches, beds, shelving — to our Fife facility to be cleaned and restored where needed. Everything was cataloged, and fragile items were carefully wrapped down to the small parts — the screws and little pieces you'd normally lose moving on your own.
Cataloged & wrappedPut right back where it was.
The repairs took a long time. When the kitchen and home were finally ready, the team came back for the pack-back — all the contents returned and put back in place — and Matt chose to rearrange a few things himself. He describes Vera and the crew as knowledgeable and proactive, talking through each next step and offering helpful suggestions along the way.
